It’s easy to get behind or miss things in your email. I always start by scanning sender and subject to identify the uninteresting and deleting it outright. I have learned to keep an eye out for certain combinations.
Hilton Honors takes great care of me. They send messages almost daily, and sometimes it feel like more than one a day. Deals and discounts on rates, how I can spend my points, but the ones I REALLY enjoy are the special offers like earning 13 PPD with Amazon.
If there is an offer to register for, I register. Typically, it is a bonus point offer for upcoming stays. Most of the time I don’t even remember the details of the offer. I just keep doing what I do.
I had a wonderful surprise this week from a recent trip to Atlanta. I was blown away looking at the summary of my account activity.
That’s nearly 16,000 points for a two night stay at a Double Tree. At half a cent per point, that’s $80 in value! This does not include the 14 PPD that my Hilton Aspire Card earns! Add that in, and the numbers go up to 21,600 an $108!!! This is an incredible 54 Points per Dollar! Which is about a 27% return on that spend!
I can’t say enough how rewarding the American Express Hilton Aspire Card enhances my business travel. The rate of point accumulation for my personal travel is staggering.
