Here we have it, yet another card with cash back. The Citibank Double Cash rewards card takes a unique spin. You earn 1% as you spend, and another 1% as you pay your bill. That’s a whopping 2% cash back on all of your spend. With no annual fee, this could be a contender for my tertiary card. No limit on how much you can earn in rewards, it’s just free cash!
Now while I’m not a fan of carrying balances on credit cards, sometimes you need to. And when that happens, being able to do so at 0% APR can minimize the cost. The Citibank Double Cash card will give you 18 months of 0% interest on balance transfers. But you will pay a 3% transfer fee up front. You can save hundreds on interest leveraging this capability.

Update December 19th, 2018:
After contacting customer service about my sign up bonus, I was informed that there was no sign up bonus associated with the card. If I were able to supply proof that there was a bonus at the time that I signed up for the card, they could escalate the request and see about honoring it. Mentions from 3rd party websites did not constitute as proof. So no sign up bonus.
While this was disappointing, at 2% cash back overall, this provides an additional $5 more per $1000 spent over most cash back cards.
